This page explains how lorismaroli.it uses cookies and similar tools, as required by the Italian Data Protection Authority’s guidelines of 10 June 2021 and Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code.
In short
The website uses no cookies of its own. No technical, statistics or profiling cookies. That’s why you see no banner: there is nothing to accept or reject.
There is one exception, and it only starts if you choose to: the calendar for booking a consultation, explained below.
What cookies are
They are small text files a website saves in your browser to remember something, like a login or a preference, or to follow your browsing for statistics or advertising.
One third-party service: the calendar
Fonts, 3D animations, images and videos are all loaded from the website itself. It doesn’t call Google Fonts, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, YouTube, maps or any other service that could recognise you while you browse.
On the “Book a consultation” page the calendar is provided by Cal.com. It does not load by itself: it starts only when you tap the button to open it. From that moment Cal.com receives the technical data of your connection and stores a few technical cookies in your browser, needed to make the booking work and to protect it from abuse (as of the date of this page: __cf_bm by Cloudflare, which lasts about half an hour, and two Cal.com session cookies that disappear when you close the browser). They are not statistics or advertising cookies. Details are in Cal.com’s privacy policy.
Your browser’s memory
To open the website faster, your browser keeps a copy of images and files (the cache). They are not cookies, hold no data about you and you can clear them whenever you like from your browser settings.
Protection from attacks
Only in exceptional cases, for example during a cyber attack, Vercel’s security system may ask your browser for a check and briefly store a technical cookie confirming you are a person. It is strictly necessary and by law needs no consent.
Links to other websites
The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp: from there its own rules and cookies apply, as described in WhatsApp’s privacy policy.
Managing cookies
In every browser’s settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) you can view, block and delete cookies from all websites.
Changes and contact
